The inspector waited until all items were removed to ensure the shower was accessible and free of obstruction." "Technical assistance was provided to the provider regarding appropriate use of the shower area and the importance of keeping it free from storage items to maintain safety and compliance. The facility failed to maintain a current Employee/Contractor Roster for all child care personnel in the Clearinghouse. The employer/owner/operator must add child care personnel to their Employee/Contractor Roster in the Clearinghouse within 10 days of when the individual has received a child care eligible result and has been hired at the facility. Documentation of Level 2 Clearinghouse screening clearance was missing for child care personnel. CCF Handbook, Section 7.4.1,C (Section 2.1 Health and Safety, Page 3) Record Keeping [SR] Comments: FSC Observed a child care personnel with the wrong background screening. In the file the personnel has a VECHS background screening. 7.4.1 Background Screening Documents Background screening documentation must be maintained for all child care personnel as defined by Section 402.302(3), F.S., which includes household members if the facility is located in or adjacent to the home of the operator. Background screening documentation must be on-site and available for the licensing authority to review. A. The facility did not have a current and approved annual fire safety inspection by the local fire authority. CCF Handbook, Section 3.8.2, A Physical Environment [SR] Comments: Licensing Specialist observed a current fire inspection with 2 violations. 3.8.2 Fire Safety A. Unless statutorily exempted, all child care facilities must conform to state standards adopted by the State Fire Marshal, Chapter 69A-36, F.A.C., Uniform Standards for Life Safety and Fire Prevention in Child Care Facilities. A copy of the current and approved annual fire inspection report completed by a certified fire inspector must be on file with the licensing authority. If the program is granted a fire inspection exemption by the local fire inspection office, the exemption must be documented and maintained on file at the program. Fire Drills Last fire drill was conducted on 9/20/24. One fire drill using an alternate evacuation route was done on 9/20/24. One fire drill during napping/sleeping times has yet to be conducted.
