CCF Handbook, Section 2.5.5 General Requirements [SR] Comments: During a routine inspection of the facility, I examined the seat belts as part of the safety check. I observed the following: One of the seat belts did not properly buckle, indicating a potential safety issue that needs immediate attention. 1. Additionally, I noted that one seat was missing its seat belt entirely. 2. Upon discussing this with the provider, they mentioned that the children often push the seat belt down, which may contribute to the issue. It is recommended to address these safety concerns promptly to ensure the well-being of all children in this care setting. A copy of the training transcript must be During the inspection, it was observed that the facility did not have documentation of childcare personnel's completion of required training on the training transcript, as outlined in the CCF Handbook, Section 4.5. Specifically, the provider did not have the necessary documentation readily available to verify that the employee had completed the required training. However, upon further inquiry, it was discovered that the teacher had relevant course completion items stored on her phone. The provider promptly printed these documents and added them to the employee's file during the inspection, ensuring compliance with the documentation requirement.
