DH Form 680 and DH Form 681 may be obtained from the local county health department. When not in use, napping space and indoor floor space may be used interchangeably as indoor floor space. C. A minimum of 18 inches must be maintained around individual napping and sleeping spaces. A maximum of two sides of a napping or sleeping space may be against a solid barrier, such as the wall. The solid side of a crib does not meet the requirements for a solid barrier. D. Napping and sleeping spaces must not be under furniture or against furniture that creates a hazard. E. Napping and sleeping areas must not be in exit areas.
