11. Child Discipline CCF Handbook, Section 2.8 (11-03)
Child care personnel did not comply with the facility's written disciplinary and expulsion policies. CCF Handbook, Section 2.8, B Comments: Licensing Specialist was informed by staff listed in supplemental, that another staff member was not following the facilitys discipline policy by which she wrapped the child in his mat, laid him face down, and placed a weighted blanket over him that did cover head. The witness listed in the supplemental uncovered the child and unwrapped him from his mat. It is recommended that the provider go over the discipline policy for their facility with all staff members.
