Child care personnel did not wash their hands properly/thoroughly in that [after diaper changing]. CCF Handbook, Section 3.10.1 Sanitation and Equipment [SR] Comments: Licensing specialist observed in the video footage, the staff listed on the supplemental did not wash her hands after diaper changing grabbed baby bottles and touched refrigerator. Director was informed what was reviewed in the video footage and provided technical assistance regarding handwashing/diaper changing procedures. Supervision of children in the [two year old] group was inadequate in that [a child was left alone in the classroom for an extended period of time]. CCF Handbook, Section 2.4 General Requirements [SR] Comments: A child was left alone in the classroom for an extended period of time, while the rest of the class and two staff members went to the playground. The child eventually was able to open the door, and another staff member saw her in the hall and reunited her with her class. The lead teacher was reassigned to work in the kitchen and is currently not supervising children, to assist with preventing this from occurring in the future. The other teacher was re-trained regarding transitions and completing a head count. The director has scheduled a staff meeting for 2/10/26 with all CCP (child care personnel) to present a training on supervision with an emphasis on counting children during transitions to assist with preventing this from occurring in the future. Technical support was provided. 2.4 Supervision 2.4.1 General Supervision Requirements A. Child care personnel must position themselves in the outdoor play area so that all children can be observed and directly supervised. B.
