Once informed, the staff member removed the infant and placed it in a crib. The Child Care Facility Handbook states on page 26: B. When napping or sleeping, young infants who are not able to roll over must be positioned on their backs and on a firm surface to reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, unless an alternate position is authorized by a physician. Sleep sacks that fit according to manufacturers recommendations, do not restrict the infants arms, and will not slide up around the infants face may be used for the comfort of the sleeping infant; however, swaddling shall not be used unless authorized in writing by the childs physician. CCF Handbook, Section 4.7 Comments: The director of record ST credentials expired on June 3, 2025. A new director was put in place today during this inspection.
