See the Personnel Records Summary for [1] Child Care personnel who have not completed the 40 clock hour Introductory Child Care Training requirement. Comments: One staff member had not completed the 40 clock hours within the timeframe. TA was given regarding the regulation, as the Director thought that they had 15 months from the employment date. It was explained that childcare personnel must begin training within 90 days of employment in the childcare industry and successfully complete training within 12 months from the date training begins. Training completion may not exceed 15 months from the date of employment in the childcare industry which is where the confusion was.
