A method of discipline was used at the childrens center that was severe humiliating or frightening in that [a staff member grabbed a 1 year old child aggressively during nap time, leaving a large red mark above his right eye.]. Comments: On 2-5-25, a staff member is observed on video grabbing a 1 year old child while on his cot at naptime. The video shows her ripping the blanket off the child, grabbing him by his left arm and flipping him from his stomach onto his back then onto his stomach again. When she flips the child back onto his stomach, he hits his head on the metal part of the cot. He sustains a large mark above his right eye where you can see the imprint of the weave of the cot material. Submit a plan to ensure that methods of disipline used at the children's center are NOT severe, humiliating or frightening in any way towards children. Administrative action will be taken.
