27. Fire Inspection VI.B. (27-01)

The childrens center did not have a current and approved fire safety inspection by the local fire authority. Comments: The fire inspection expired on 2-10-26 and the fire inspection was not completed until 2-24-26 and that fire inspection showed a deficiency. Please submit a passed fire inspection to PCLB. Licensing Specialist spoke with the center director and she stated that she contacted the fire department 1 month prior to the expiration date and was told that she could not set up the appointment before the expiration date of 2-10-26. 11. General Qualifications/Level II Screening/Background Screening (11-09)

See the Personnel Records Summary for [2] Child Care personnel whose background screening was not completed within 5 years after the initial screening, or after a 90 days break in service. Comments: 1 staff member had been out of child care for more than 90 days and her first day with children was 8-11-25 but her eligibility date was not until 8-12-25. During that 1 day, she was not alone with the children. Another staff member had a child care eligibility date of 6-17-24 due to her employment as a life guard. She was hired as a staff member on 8-12-25 and her prints need to be resubmitted. They were resubmitted during the inspection and she will not return until her prints come back.
