Child care staff failed to provide direct supervision of children in the [2 year old] group of children as evidenced by [a two year old child was left in the classroom for approximately 8 minutes unsupervised]. Comments: A staff member failed to provide direct supervision of children in the 2 year old class when she left a child in the classroom during a transition. The staff member completed the transition in the classroom before leaving but only took 5 of the 6 children with her. The child was left alone for approximately 8 minutes.
