The outdoor play area was not adequately fenced in that it had gaps that could allow children to exit the outdoor play area as evidenced by [a portion of the fence was damaged from the hurricane and could allow children to exit.]. Comments: The corner of the fence on the preschool playground was damaged by the hurricane and there was space open while the children were playing outside. The owner had positioned herself to block the hole, but if there is no other adult on the playground and she had to attend to a child, the opening is large enough that a child could get out accidentally. She stated that the fence company was coming at the end of the week to fix it, and agreed to put up a temporary barrier or use the infant playground until it was fixed.
