The facility was required to have at least [2] credentialed child care personnel and had [1] credentialed child care personnel CCF Handbook, Section 4.6.1, B Comments: Licensing Specialist reviewed all personnel training transcripts and observed one personnel training transcript that shows an active Staff Credential. Facility child enrollment is 56, which requires an additional active Staff Credential. See supplemental. Corrective action needed. Technical assistance was provided regarding number of credentialed staff required per child enrollment. Per Child Care Facility Handbook (CCF), Section 4.6.1, B. For every 20 children, a child care facility must have one child care personnel who meets the staff credential requirement. Based on this formula, child care facilities with 20-39 children must have one credentialed child care personnel, facilities with 40-59 children must have two credentialed child care personnel, and so on. CCF Handbook, Section 2.4.1, A Comments: After conducting interviews with personnel and parents Licensing Specialist concluded that outdoor supervision was found to be noncompliance on the date of the incident. Licensing specialist confirmed that a child was left on playground unsupervised upon transitioning back into classroom from playground and a child count of all children was not completed. Corrected at the time of the inspection. Technical assistance was given regarding outdoor Supervision and the importance of always keeping a proper count of all children in care and per classroom. Provider stated she conducted a meeting regarding supervision with all and is requiring they complete a training on supervision.
