    An infant was observed being fed with a propped bottle. CCF Handbook, Section 2.4.4, C General Requirements [SR] Comments: LS observed an infant was observed being fed with a propped bottle. CCF Handbook, Section 2.4.4, C Per CCF Handbook, Section 2.4.4, A, B, and C. A. During feeding times, children must be individually fed and provided their own tableware. Children must be supervised appropriately for their ages and developmental abilities, to monitor the size of food and that children are eating accordingly. B. Infants must be held for bottle feedings until they are developmentally ready to sit in an highchair chair with good head control. Children must not be left in highchairs or other types of feeding chairs other than during feeding times. The use of safety straps is required to prevent children from falling out of the highchair. C. There must not be any propped bottles. If a child cannot hold the bottle, childcare personnel must hold the bottle during feeding. There must be no automatic feeding devices unless prescribed by a doctor and documentation is available in the childs file. Corrected at time of inspection. LS gave technical assistance letting provider know infants have to be individually fed if they are not developmentally ready with good head control to sit in a proper feeding device.     Children in the outdoor play area were not adequately supervised in that [two 2 year old children exited front side playgound gate.]. CCF Handbook, Section 2.4.1, A General Requirements [SR] Comments: Provider and personnel acknowledged to Licensing Specialist that two 2year old children exited east front side playground gate unsupervised and unattended by childcare personnel. Licensing Specialist observed "blind" spots on the east side of playground area. Licensing Specialist observed a gate alarm on the east front side area playground gate; however, gate alarm was not loud enough to be heard on playground. Technical assistance was provided regarding direct supervision. Per CCF handbook, section 2.4.1 A- Child care personnel must position themselves in the outdoor area so that all children can be observed and directly supervised.
