CCF Handbook, Section 3.5, F (Section 2.1 Health and Safety, Page 3) Physical Environment [SR] Comments: The fencing surrounding the facility has noticeable gaps in the walls and gate area, which pose a risk of allowing children to leave the outdoor play space. Additionally, misalignment in certain sections of the fence creates sharp edges that could potentially harm children. Please fix areas in the fence. The base of the fence must remain at ground level and be free from erosion or buildup to prevent inside and outside access by children or animals. These areas must have at least two exits, with at least one being remote from the buildings. If an outdoor play area was approved for usage by the Department prior to October 25, 2017, no new exits are required to be added to meet this standard.
