57P — Capacity

Ensure capacity restrictions for a level 1 FCCH are followed. Six children ages preschool and younger are enrolled in the FCCH. Per child enrollment information and a discussion with the provider, all six preschool-age and younger children are present at the same time. During the visit, only four children were present. This was discussed with the provider.

8P — License Renewal

Ensure the renewal application is submitted at least 60 days prior to the license expiration.

21P — Parents Right to Know Act

Ensure current enrollment completes the Parent's Right to Know Notice Log.

22P — Children's Files

Ensure child files are complete. One child needs blood lead screening results.

29P — Indoor Space

Remove the air freshener from the bathroom. This was corrected at the visit when the provider removed the air freshener.

35P — Sleeping Accommodations and Safe Sleep Environments

Ensure children under 18 months old, who do not walk, sleep in a crib, playpen, or pack-and-play. A 15 month old, who does not walk, was observed sleeping in a play yard. Ensure the pack-and-play mattress is set at its lowest position. The infant's pack-and-play was set to the bassinet position.

40P — Diapering and Soiled Clothing

Ensure the diaper-changing surface is non-absorbent. Remove the blanket and clothe cover. Ensure a foot-activated diaper pail is used for diapers. This was corrected when the provider switched out the diaper genie for a foot-activated diaper pail.

57P — Capacity

Ensure the Level 1 family home capacity is maintained at all times. At the time of the visit, there were three one year olds and one infant present. Disenroll one child to ensure no more than three children are under the age of 24 months.
