746.501(a)(20) - Written Operational Policies - Parent Rights

It was found that the operation did not give all families the list of Parents Rights, in autumn 2023 as required. This issue has now been resolved by the operation adding the list to their admission materials.

746.3407(8) - Garbage Inaccessible to Children; Maintained in Sanitary Manner

At inspection, two classrooms had uncovered trash cans that contained garbage.

746.3701 - Safety - Areas Free From Hazards

At inspection, three classrooms had toaster ovens that could be accessible to children in care.

746.613(a) - Required Immunizations

Out of the ten children's files reviewed, one child did not have all the required immunizations up to date.

746.2901 - Supervised Naptime Daily

Children aged 4 1/2 to 5 years, who were in care for approximately seven consecutive hours, did not have a designated quiet or naptime.

The operational policies were missing provisions on suspension and expulsion, promotion of indoor and outdoor physical activity, employee vaccinations, and inclusive care for children with special needs.

746.2911 - Adequate Lighting During Naptime

Two classrooms had insufficient lighting during naptime.

746.901 - Required Personnel Records

The staff training certificates were not available for review at the time of the inspection.
