746.501(a)(8) - Written Operational Policies - Suspension and Expulsion

A suspension and expulsion policy was not available.

746.2407 - Infant Care Area Furnishings and Equipment -Use of Safety Straps

In the 15-22 month old room none of the children sitting in the chairs in the table were buckled in. The caregiver corrected this at the time of the inspection by buckling in all of the children.

746.3401(a) - Annual Sanitation Inspection

The sanitation inspection expired on 8/22/25. The Director is going to correct this by getting the sanitation inspection done.

745.635(2) - AP Background check determination - If ineligible then you must immediately remove subject from operation and confirm to CBCU receipt of notice letter

There was a caregiver at the operation whose background check was ineligible and then backgound check unti inactived the background check due to the out of state background check not being submitted in the required time frame. The Director corrected this at the time of the inspection by having the caregiver leave the operation.

746.4907(a)(2) - Installation and Maintenance of Loose-fill Surfacing - Nine Inches if Equipment Greater Than 5 Ft.

There was a play structure on the playground that did not have the required amount of loose fill. The Director is going to correct this by getting the loose fill installed and up supervision until it is installed.

746.3415(4) - Employee Handwashing After Diapering a Child

It was found that caregivers are not always washing their hands after diaper changes.

746.3301(f)(1) - Nutrition and Food Service - Drinking water available at every snack, mealtime, and during and after active play

It was found during the inspection that children are not always receiving a drink during all mealtimes.

746.3417(4) - Children Handwashing After Outdoor Activities

It was found during the inspection that there have been times that children have not been washing hands after outdoor activities.

It was found that there were times that children were not washing hands after toileting or diapering.

746.3417(1) - Children Handwashing Before Eating

Based on the information gathered it was found that children are not always washing their hands before eating.

746.2207(c)(4) - Screen Time Activities - Not Used During Eating or Rest Times

Information obtained during the inspection indicates that caregivers are using screen time during eating times.

746.3407(11) - Sanitize Tables Tops, Furniture and Similar Equipment

It was found that the diaper changing mat was not being cleaned and sanitized properly in between all diaper changes.

746.1601 - Child/ Caregiver Ratio - 13 or More Children

One of the infant rooms was out of ratio. There was one teacher supervising six 12-15mo olds. This was corrected that the time of the inspection by children and a teacher being moved to a different room. There will be a follow-up conducted.
