Seven of the ten staff records reviewed did not have the required twenty-four hours of annual training in the required training topics.

746.2803(3) - Discipline - Teaches Acceptable Behavior and Self-control

Based on the investigation findings, this standard was reviewed and found to be in non-compliance with The Minimum Standards for Child Care Centers. The caregiver did not teach the child acceptable behavior or self-control when they used a marker to make a mark on the child as a consequence of having marked with a marker on another child.

746.1201(2) - Responsibilities of Employees and Caregivers -Relate to Children

Based on the investigation findings, this standard was reviewed and found to be in non-compliance with The Minimum Standards for Child Care Centers. The caregiver did not treat the child with respect and patience when they called a child a crybaby.

746.2805(3) - Prohibited Punishments - Grabbing and Pulling

Based on the investigation findings, this standard was reviewed and found to be in non-compliance with The Minimum Standards for Child Care Centers. The caregiver pulled on the child's arm.

746.305(a)(6) - Report Situation Placing Children at Risk

Based on the investigation findings, this standard was was reviewed and found to be in non-compliance with the Minimum Standards for Child Care Centers. The operation was aware of an incident that may have placed a child at risk and did not report the incident to Child Care Regulation.

746.2805(5) - Prohibited Punishments - Humiliating, Rejecting, Yelling

Based on the investigation findings, this standard was reviewed and found to be in non-compliance with the Minimum Standards for Child Care Centers. The caregiver yelled the children.

746.307(b)(4) - Parental Communication - Situation that Placed a Child at Risk

Based on the investigation findings, this standard was reviewed and found to be in non-compliance with The Minimum Standards for Child Care Centers. The parent was not notified of an incident that may have placed their child at risk.
