Based on the investigation findings, this standard was reviewed and found to be in non-compliance with the Minimum Standards for Child Care Centers. Water is not being provided to the preschool children during mealtimes. There was insufficient information to substantiate the allegation that water is not made available after active play.

746.1203(10) - Responsibilities of Caregivers - Share Information with Incoming Caregivers

Based on the investigation findings, this standard was reviewed and found to be in non-compliance with The Minimum Standards for Child Care Centers. The director did not share with the incoming caregiver that a child was in the bathroom during the caregiver shift change.

746.2805(1) - Prohibited Punishments - Corporal Punishment

Based on the investigation findings, this standard was reviewed and found to be in non-compliance with The Minimum Standards for Child Care Centers. The director flicks a child on their ear if the child does not lay down during naptime.

746.3701 - Safety - Areas Free From Hazards

Based on the investigation findings, this standard was reviewed and found to be in non-compliance with The Minimum Standards for Child Care Centers. The operations playground fences required repairs. Riding toys were observed to have broken pieces, sharp chain link fence pieces protruded from the concrete right under the wooden fence. These hazards were observed to no longer be present on 05/21/2026.

Their were two blue tricycles observed with chipped paint on the playground. They were removed during the inspection.

The operation has not updated/verified liability insurance information by the annual due date. Verification was due by 10/24/2025.

746.5607(c) - Child Passenger Safety Seat System - Secure Each Child in Appropriate System According to Manufacturer's Instructions

Based on the investigation findings, this standard was reviewed and found to be in non-compliance with The Minimum Standards for Child Care Centers. The operation transported two three-year-old children; the operation only had one forward facing child safety seat on the vehicle available for use. The operation staff did not know the weights or heights of any the fifteen children ages 4 through 7 years old that were transported; the operation could not determine if these children required more than a safety belt.

746.2101(a) - Child/Caregiver Ratio - Splashing/Wading Activities

Based on the investigation findings, this standard was reviewed and found to be in non-compliance with The Minimum Standards for Child Care Centers. On 06/09/2025 the operation went on a field trip to a water park where there were twenty-four children with three staff members in the wading pool areas. The youngest children on the field trip were three years olds; the operation was over ratio by six children.

746.1601 - Child/ Caregiver Ratio - 13 or More Children

The infant classroom was observed to be out of ratio. Their were six infants with one caregiver. The specified age group was 12 to 17 months, the classroom was out of ratio by one child. Durinig the inspection a second caregiver stepped into the classroom to bring the class into ratio/group size.
