746.2207(a) - Screen Time Activities - Not Used for Under Two

The television was observed on in a classroom where the youngest child was under 2 years old. This was corrected when CCR staff asked operation staff to turn the television off.

746.1601 - Child/ Caregiver Ratio - 13 or More Children

The second caregiver in the infant classroom answered the door for CCR staff and then went into the restroom. The specified age group was 0-11 months old. Ratio for one caregiver would be 1 to 4 and there were 7 children present in the classroom.

746.1107(2) - Additional Minimum Qualifications for Caregivers - HS Diploma, Equivalent, Certification of Completion

Two staff files were missing high school Diplomas.

746.2426(a)(1) - Infant May Not Sleep in a Restrictive Device

An infant was observed asleep in a restrictive device. This was corrected when CCR staff asked operation staff to remove the child from the swing and place him in a crib.

746.401(5) - Posting Requirements - Activity Plans for each group of children in the child care center

The operation did not have activity plans postedfor each age group.

746.4503(a) - Individual Cot, Bed, or Mat for Each Walking Child Through 4 Years of Age

The operation did not have nap mats or cots at the operation during the inspection.

746.603(a)(3) - Children's Records - Health Statement

Two of the four children files reviewed did not have health care statements.

746.4003(a) - First Aid Kit - Incomplete Kit

During the inspection it was observed that the transportation bus was missing tweezers and scissors and the antiseptic wipes were expired. This was corrected at inspection when the supplies were all replaced.

746.5205(1) - Fire Drill Monthly - Exit in 3 Minutes

During the inspection it was observed that a fire drill had not been practiced since May 2024. This was corrected at inspection when a drill was conducted while I was present.
