746.1315(a) - Each Caregiver and the Director Must Have Current Training in pediatric first aid with rescue breathing and choking.

When reviewing staff files 1 out of 10 was missing their First Aid/CPR training.

746.2911 - Adequate Lighting During Naptime

During the inspection, a toddler room was observed to be too dark during naptime, with insufficient lighting present. Note: This was corrected during inspection by uncovering lamp and turning on the light from the bathroom.

746.3503(a) - Diaper Changing Equipment - Smooth, Non-absorbent, Easy to Clean Surface

Four diaper changing mats were torn with the interior padding exposed. Note: All four of the diaper changing mats were replaced during the inspection.

746.3317(6) - Food Service and Preparation Requirement - Use Sanitary Holders

In the walking infant room children were being served their snacks directly on the table that is also used for activities. Note: This was corrected during inspection when the snacks was being placed on a napkin instead of the table.

746.4003(a)(7) - First Aid Kit Incomplete - Thermometer, preferably non-glass

Four out of six transportation vehicles were missing the thermometer in the first aid kit. Note: This was corrected during inspection extra thermometers were available and were placed in the transportation vehicles.

746.1201(1) - Responsibilities of Employees and Caregivers -Demonstrate Competency, Good Judgment, Self-control

It has been concluded that caregiver did not demonstrate good judgement when running after a child in a classroom and not being able to properly grab her causing several scratches on the child.

746.5101(a) - Annual Fire Inspection - Before Initial Permit Issued and Every 12 Months

Current fire inspection was not available for review. Last fire inspection expired on 10/6/2024.
