746.2207(c)(4) - Screen Time Activities - Not Used During Eating or Rest Times

After schooler children were observed using tablets during naptime/ resttime. This was corrected at inspection when the director had caregivers remove tablets from children and provide them with an alternative activity.

746.1311(c) - Director Annual Training -Required 1 hour in prevention, recognition and reporting of child maltreatment

The director was missing training focused on prevention, recognition, and reporting of child abuse and neglect.

746.1311(d) - Director Annual Training - Caring for children under 24 months

The director was observed to be missing one hour of the annual training hours covering recognizing and preventing shaken baby syndrome and abusive head trauma; understanding and using safe sleep practices and preventing sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS); and understanding early childhood brain development.

746.2419(6) - Requirements for Feeding Infants - Label Bottles/Cups

Bottles in the infant classroom refrigerator were not labeled properly with the infant's first name and initial of last name.

746.401(4) - Posting Requirements - Emergency and evacuation relocation diagram

Four classrooms that are currently being used by students were missing the evacuation route posted.

One caregiver was observed to be missing at least one clock hour of the annual training hours must focus on prevention, recognition, and reporting of child maltreatment

746.1311(e) - Director Annual Training - Additional required topics

The director was observed to be missing trainings for emergency preparedness, preventing and controlling the spread of communicable diseases, including immunizations, administering medication, preventing and responding to emergencies due to food or an allergic reaction, understanding building and physical premises safety, and handling, storing, and disposing of hazardous materials.

One student file evaluated was observed to need updated immunizations.

Trash was observed on the playground area. Bolts were observed protruding from the black boarder around the playground.

The children's product safety form had not been updated within the last year.
