746.3505(b) - Diapering Procedures - Wash Infant's Hands

A childs hands were observed to not be washed after the childs diaper was changed. This was corrected as the child's hands were washed.

746.3819 - Food Allergy Emergency Plan Signed by Parents and Health Care Professional

It was found during the inspection that a child with a diagnosed food allergy did not have their food allergy and anaphylaxis emergency care plan signed and dated by a physician. This was corrected during the inspection when the child's parent signed and dated the food allergy emergency plan.

During the inspection, it was found that the most recent fire inspection report was dated 04/24/2024.

746.2805(3) - Prohibited Punishments - Grabbing and Pulling

It was found during the DFPS investigation that an employee used inappropriate discipline on children in care by grabbing them by the arm.

746.2415(b) - AP Cribs - Only Snug Fitting Sheet and Crib Mattress Cover Allowed if Infant Younger than 12 Months of Age

During the inspection, a blanket was observed in the crib covering a child under 12 months of age. This was corrected during the inspection when staff removed the blanket from the crib.
