I observed an electrical outlet in the toddler room that was broken with no protective cover over it and without a childproof cover in the bottom socket.

746.1201(1) - Responsibilities of Employees and Caregivers -Demonstrate Competency, Good Judgment, Self-control

The caregivers did not demonstrate competency and good judgement when they waited until 4:15 pm to notify the parent about concerns they had regarding the child's behavior that was associated with a potential foot/leg injury. The caregivers noticed the child was acting out of character starting around 10:00am and the child continued to display signs throughout the day that was not normal, and that the child was showing signs of discomfort.
