746.3701 - Safety - Areas Free From Hazards

During the inspection, I observed a small bookcase in the infant room that was wobbley. I also observed an outlet that was uncovered. Both of these pose a safety hazard.

746.1601 - Child/ Caregiver Ratio - 13 or More Children

I observed a caregiver walk out of the infant room for a few moments, leaving the other caregiver out of ratio as there were 7 children present. This was corrected when the caregiver walked back into the room.

746.4907(a)(1) - Installation and Maintenance of Loose-fill Surfacing - Six Inches if Equipment 5 Ft or Less

The depth of the surfacing was not what is required.

746.2911 - Adequate Lighting During Naptime

Upon entering the infant room during naptime, I observed the room to be too dark. It was difficult to see the children that were napping in their cribs.

A group of children were left inappropriately supervised when the worker that was counted in ratio walked out the room to open the front door.

746.2415(b) - AP Cribs - Only Snug Fitting Sheet and Crib Mattress Cover Allowed if Infant Younger than 12 Months of Age

I observed a 7 month old child asleep in his crib, covered with a blanket. This was corrected when the blanket was removed.
