746.2501(5) - Care Requirements for Toddlers - Free from Choking Objects That May Cause Choking in Infants or Toddlers

The Toddler Two classroom had small manipulative items on the shelves that presented a choking hazard. The operation came into compliance when the items were removed and I had a conversation with staff on how to test toys and class materials to ensure they are not a choking hazard.

746.3407(12) - Mark Cleaning Supplies, Toxic Materials; Keep Separate from Food and Inaccessible to Children

Cleaning supplies were left in reach of children in the Toddler and Primary bathroom. This was corrected at inspection when the caregivers movved the items to higher shelving.

746.305(a)(6) - Report Situation Placing Children at Risk

The operation did not make a report when notified that a child had left their classroom alone on two occasions.

746.1205(a)(4) - Supervision ensures each child?s safety, well-being, including physical proximity and auditory or visual awareness of each child?s on going activity

It was confirmed that a child was able to leave their classroom alone twice last fall.

At the time of inspection a sanitation inspection the last inspection conducted was dated 1/22/24.

At the time of inspection 8 of 8 staff trainings review did not include current safety traiinings.

746.5101(b) - Annual Fire Inspection - Conducted by Fire Marshal

At the time of inspection the most recent fire inspection was dated 3/15/24.

746.501(a)(30) - Written Operational Policies - Support inclusive services

The Operational Policies did not include service regarding special needs.
