An infant was seen sleeping with a bib on in the play yard. HHSC may impose an adminstrative penalty as a result of this citation, per HRC Section 42.078.

Evidence received through interviews supports that a caregiver lacked good judgement when the caregiver pulled a nap mat out from under a child. This caused the child to fall and receive a wound under the chin which required medical attention. The caregiver has been terminated for this action.

746.305(a)(2) - AP Report Child Injury Requiring Medical Treatment by a Health-Care Professional or Hospitalization

A child in care received an injury which required further medical attention. This incident was not reported to Child Care Regulation. An administrative penalty will be recommended as a result of this citation per HRC 42.078.
