746.1605(1) - Child/Caregiver Ratio - 18 Months Difference in Age

A caregiver was caring for a total of 14 children including infants in the toddler/pre-k area during the naptime. There was more than an 18 month age difference between the oldest and youngest child in the group. The youngest child was 5 months of age and the oldest child was 5 years of age.

The operation did not notify child care regulation prior to changing two infant rooms into a toddler and pre-k room.

Recite: Three infants were asleep in a crib without a sheet covering the mattress. The cribs used by infants were now labeled with their name and designated number.

The outdoor area was with trash (pieces of papers and debris).

746.5617(a)(5) - Required Equipment in Vehicles - Fire Extinguisher

The fire extinguisher in the transportation vehicle was not serviced.

There was one caregiver caring for 11 children which consisted of 5 infants and 6 toddlers. The most a caregiver can supervise is 4 infants when 11 children are present. Note The ratios were left in compliance as an additional caregiver was put in the classroom.

The children's products certification was last updated 11/09/23.

746.4503(b) - Cots, Beds, Mats Labeled With Child's Name

The six mats used by the toddlers were not labeled with their names or a number.

The operation did not notify CCR within the required timeframe regarding an incident in which a child was injured and required medical treatment.

746.5309 - Inspection of Sprinkler System

The inspection report for the sprinkler system was not available for review. The fire extinguishers in the building were last serviced October 2023.
