Training records were evaluated. The CPR and First Aid training for the Primary Caregiver expired in May 2025.

747.1303(5)(A) - Training Requirements for Primary Caregiver -30 Hours Annual Training

Training records were observed during the unannounced inspection. The Primary Caregiver has documentation showing that 25 hours of annual training were completed for the 2024-2025 evaluation period. The provider will need to complete 5 hours of training, which must include at least 3 hours in management training. These hours will make up the deficit and count toward 2024-2025 and will be in addition to the required 30 hours for the 2025-2026 year.

The assistant caregiver does not have the required 24 hours of annual training including: Recognizing and preventing child abuse, neglect, and exploitation; Recognizing and preventing shaken baby syndrome; Understanding and using safe sleep practices and preventing sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS); Understanding early childhood brain development; Emergency preparedness; Preventing and controlling the spread of communicable diseases, including immunizations; Administering medication, if applicable; Preventing and responding to emergencies due to food or an allergic reaction; Understanding building and physical premises safety; and Handling, storing, and disposing of hazardous materials.
