Based on the information obtained, it was determine that the operation was not complying by the restrictions to their permit when they allowed a 17-month- old to enroll and attend the child care center.

The EpiPen reviewed for the child with a food allergy expired 04/14/2025. This was corrected when the operation disposed of the Epipen and contacted parent to bring a new one.

The operation was not inspecting the fire extinguishers monthly. The provider inspected these during the inspection and documented the inspection.

The operation did not have a medication listed on a child's FARE form by a medical professional for a diagnosed allergy.

The loose-fill was not at the required depth per Minimum Standards.

746.5531 - Child-Care Center Must be Equipped with a Working Carbon Monoxide (CO) Detection System

The operation did not have a working carbon monoxide detector. The director located one in the office and was able to plug it in during inspection.

746.5315 - Smoke-Detection System Tested

The operation did not have any paperwork from the testing/inspection of the smoke detectors that was completed by a third party company.

746.3407(8) - Garbage Inaccessible to Children; Maintained in Sanitary Manner

One classroom had garbage accessible to children as a trash can with garbage in it did not have a lid. This was corrected as the caregiver closed the trash bag during inspection.

One classroom did not have adequate lighting during naptime. The caregiver was asked to provide additional light in the classroom during inspection and complied by turning on a bathroom light.
