746.5617(a)(5) - Required Equipment in Vehicles - Fire Extinguisher

A vehicle used to transport children had a fire extinguisher with the pin not in the extinguisher and the inspection tag was not attached. This was corrected at inspection when director replaced the fire extinguisher with one that had the pin in place and a current inspection tag.

746.1309(e) - Documented Annual Training- Required Content

In review of records, 4 caregivers did not have proof of training in preventing and responding to emergencies due to food or an allergic reaction

746.5617(a)(6) - Required Equipment in Vehicles - First-aid Kit

One vehicle used to transport children did not contain a first aid kit. This was corrected at inspection when director put a complete first aid kit in the vehicle.

746.5205(1) - Fire Drill Monthly - Exit in 3 Minutes

Operation did not have documention showing a fire drill was completed in August 2024. This was corrected at inspection when operation completed a fire drill where all children and staff exited the building in under 3 minutes.

746.1309(e) - Documented Annual Training- Required Content

While checking records, three staff members did not have proof of training on file for administering medication, allergic reaction due to food and how to handle hazardous materials.

746.4135(b) - Children's Products- Annual Certification

Operation did not have a current consumer product certification for 2885 completed. This was corrected at inspection when director reviewed the CPSC web site and completed form 2885.

Two transportation vehicles do not have a documented emergency plan for staff to refer to in case on an emergency,
